Customer Testimonials!

Your products are very good, I love them. My daughter’s skin looks good she loves shea butter. Grace L. (Dar-es-Salaam) 22/09/09

I bought shea butter products at the product launch, the products are so good, I am using them with all my children we all love it. I have been to internet and learnt more about shea butter, only to realise that shea butter does not only moisturise you but heals your skin too. Then I realised the price of your products is fare if one gets all that benefit. Congratulations and thank you very much for bringing this wonderful skin care product to Tanzania. I am proud of you. Emmy D. (Dar-es-Salaam) 22/09/09

I used Shea butter to treat my hair and it feels great and opted to use it on my scalp as well. I usually don't like to spend too much time at the salon and opt for the quickest styling methods which involve flat irons etc and I believe that treating hair with shea butter will protect my hair. What I love most about the product is the fact that it does not have greasy effect whether on skin or hair. Linda (Dar-es-Salaam) 22/09/2009.

Tausi Shea Butter products are very good. I used it on my face and I could not believe how soft and glowing my skin looks, I wish you were here so that I could buy one. I will be very happy for your company to establish a shop in Dar-Es-Salaam. Where can I get the product at the moment? I need one desperately! Witness Watson (Dar-es-Salaam 22/09/09

I learnt a lot about Shea butter at your product launch, I bought shea foot smoothie for my husband as he has very dry skin on his feet. He is using it and enjoying it. I will give you more feedback. My friend and I have opened a beauty salon; we are just wondering if your products supply in Tanzania will be available all year round as we would like to encourage ladies to use shea butter for all their beauty needs. For the time being I am happy with the foot smoothie and shea body Unscented. I also remember you mentioned a product which helps acne, blemishes and wrinkle reduction, please remind which one as that is a very common skin problem here.
Ms. Mukajungu Kamuzora (Dar-es-Salaam) 22/09/09

August - September Visit 2009

In August I left for my first business trip to Tanzania ready to promote Tausi Shea Butter products to a new audience. Here is my diary of events:

11th Aug 2009: Left England for Tanzania. The journey went as planned. I arrived at Dar-es-Salaam at 10.45pm. I was met by relatives and friends.

13th Aug 2009: Visited Tanzania Food and Drug Authority (TFDA) office. This is a government regulatory body that has to pass any food and drugs (including cosmetics) in to the country to ensure its safety for public use. Tausi Signature Products were no exception to the rules.

14th Aug 2009: The consignment of Tausi Products arrived by cargo from England, I promptly cleared it having had the appropriate documentation from TFDA albeit after the weekend.

15th-16th Aug 2009: Enjoyed the weekend with family and friends, talking about shea butter and sharing the samples. They were amazed with the products.

17th Aug 2009: Unpacked the cargo, surprisingly it was all intact no spills, and no effect of the warm weather to the consistency of the cream. Started spreading the word about launching the products which was planned for 23rd Aug at the Peacock Hotel . Invitations were sent forthwith for this occasion.

18th Aug 2009: Leaflets were issued and Invitations were given, and as the word spread the products began to sell! Amazingly there was demand for the products at a rate exceeding expectations. The results were extremely encouraging.

23rd Aug 2009: Dar-es-Salaam Product Launch; the main venue for the launch was Peacock Hotel at the Millennium Towers Kijitonyama area. The attendance was good and the presentation was well received with enthusiasm by the crowd. Questions were invited from the crowd and live testimonies were the icing on the cake. Some products proved more popular than some e.g. Foot Smoothie, Face Cream, Face Cream Cleanser and Shea Body Unscented.

24th Aug 2009: A number of calls were made from people who had heard about the launch by those who attended and recommended the products. The selling of the popular products grew from strength to strength.

30th Aug 2009: Product launches in Morogoro (200 km) from Dar-es-Salaam the capital city of Tanzania.

1st Sept 2009: Product launches in Arusha the second largest city and a tourist destination.
